This Week's Top 10

Happy Friday! Getting back to NYC and returning to my apartment this week has been... well, it's definitely had its ups and downs. I am still adjusting to my "life" and routine here, but overall I am feeling a bit more motivated and just overall more at peace than I did living out of a suitcase and running away from the city. I am actively trying to adapt to city life a bit more, and that starts with not leaving for weeks at a time every month. Of course, my time in Wisconsin and with Joe was fabulous, but it's unsustainable to, like, pretend I still live there, without putting in much effort to make NYC feel like my home now. Just working on finding that balance! I'll be here all of August so I definitely think that will help me shift gears!

Anyway! Happy Friday, let's get into the top 10 of the week:

1, One thing I did this week was I downloaded the Play Your Court app to find tennis partners to play with in the city. I have my first little tennis date today!! So excited to be meeting new people while doing something active that I enjoy! Motivated myself by ordering this tennis skirt (just $20!) lol.

2. This weekend I am heading to my aunt's bridal shower in CT! Ok, I know I said I was going to try not to leave the city, but this weekend and next weekend (in Dallas to celebrate my dad's birthday) don't count! I ordered a ton of dresses from Shopbop the other day to try on for Sunday and shared them on tik tok yesterday,  I think I'm going to go with this one!  3. This week I discovered the Sincerely Jules X Bandier collection and I want this cute ruffle sports bra in every single pattern. Also love the bra + biker shorts set here!

4. Last night I finished People We Meet on Vacation, and I give it a 10/10. It was SO good. Started off as a fun beach read and ended as a romantic, beautiful, tear-jerking (in a good way) story. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a new summer book right now! I feel like everyone is reading it, too, so it's the perfect time to get your hands on it! I'm going to listen to this podcast soon to hear Grace & Becca's thoughts on the book.

5. Speaking of podcasts, I really enjoyed hearing the founders of June Shine share their story on this episode of the TSC Podcast! They are genuine, inspiring, and incredibly successful! Now I just need to get my hands on their hard kombucha and see what all of the hype is about.

6. The cutest small business sent me their leather "train case" (aka huge makeup bag! with storage pockets!) this week and it is seriously the prettiest ever. You may have seen it a few days ago on my IG story. I love it because it's not only gorgeous but has a ton of little "pockets" inside to keep all of your products organized. Highly!! Recommend!!

7. What a cute coffee table book! Under $50, too.

8. Why am I so obsessed with this $30 gingham seersucker mini sundress?! Oh wait, that's why. (Because it's a $30 gingham seersucker mini sundress, duh!)

9. I've been wearing this necklace almost every day. It's from my fave (local to MKE!) small business, Heather Fearne Jewelry!
