September went by incredibly fast, as all months have seemed to this year, but for once I actually feel pretty good about what I accomplished this month. Now that I've started work, I feel like I can actually live in the moment instead of waiting and waiting for something... It feels good no longer having "starting my first job!" looming over my head as it has been for the last nine months.
Every year at school, October was the best month. Game days, fall weather, sweaters... I'm still excited about this fall though because it's the first time I get to spend an entire fall in Milwaukee since high school! I forgot how beautiful it is here (...although it will get cold soon). I just love Octobers and feel so good about the month ahead. Anyway, here's everything I loved in September:

I've been updating my current faves playlist, but honestly haven't listened to a ton of new music this month. Just with work, I don't listen to music all day during the day anymore! However, there is an exception: Still Woozy's new song released this month is without a doubt my new favorite song. I have had it on repeat for weeks!!

Literally been wearing this tie-dye set every single day since I got it... I'm not exaggerating. It is so, so comfy and cute!! I know I'm late to this trend but now I completely understand the appeal. You can get 15% off your order on Leela & Lavender with code FRAN15
My recent outfits are all linked on my liketoknow.it page here!

I read The Great Alone at the beginning of the month and I am thinking of writing an entire blog post about it soon. I simply can't wait until I finish a few more books just to include it in a round-up of recent reads... it was too good. Seriously, one of the best books I have ever read in my life.

This month's skincare highlight has definitely been working with Haldi Skin to create a customized skincare routine. I can't recommend Haldi enough; my skin has felt and looked so clear and soft since I started this new regime... basically, my skin just feels right.
Haldi builds out a routine for you centered around your skincare concerns and the products you already have in your routine. If a product you have is a good fit for your skin, it won't tell you to go get a new one! But, if it's a product that probably isn't the best option for you, it'll suggest something else. Haldi also tells you when and how to use your products, and in which order... which I found so educational!
If you try it out, add my name (Fran Acciardo) as a referral!

Still obsessed with the Revlon! As I mentioned last month, I can blow dry my hair in under 10 minutes and it actually looks good. If you don't have this yet, what are you doing?! It's under $50 and will probably change how you style your hair forever.

I went to Trader Joe's and bought these pickled (and fermented!) jalapenos and I love them. I've been adding them to everything (avocado toast, sandwiches, tacos, mac and cheese...) and they've pretty much changed my life... not to be dramatic.
My new favorite breakfast: everything bagel + whipped cream cheese + smoked salmon
We get our smoked salmon at TJ's and then do Philadelphia's whipped cream cheese. I love Bubba's bagels because they are slightly ~healthier~ with extra protein and flax seeds. Truly a killer trifecta. Couldn't recommend enough!
Oh, also, you have to try the apple cider munchkins from Dunkin. Lol, I had them last weekend and they are just so good I couldn't not mention them.

I have been treating myself to a few coffees out and about lately! I came up with a new order and can't get enough. If I'm ordering a coffee somewhere I ask for: cold brew with a splash of almond milk and one pump pumpkin. Basically just my normal order but adding the pumpkin because... it's fall, duh.
Still loving my cold brew maker at home, though! I love having my cold brew ready to go for me in the fridge every single morning, especially now that I'm waking up early for work and want it immediately when I open my eyes... haha.
As for alcoholic beverages, I tried this beer last weekend and it's amazing!!! Seriously, can't recommend it enough.

I did my Instagram friend Holly's 50-mile running challenge this month and I'm so happy I finished it! I found it so motivating and also fell in love with the Nike Run Club app. Before I was using Map My Run but NRC is so much better... it pauses your run when you stop (like at a stoplight or crosswalk) and syncs smoothly with your music... it also just overall works smoother and has a nicer UI.
What were you loving in September?!

Those apple cider munchkins are NO JOKE! Also smoked salmon toast gang for the win. Love these monthly roundups!
