August is such a bittersweet month for me every year. I love it because it's my birthday month and I love the weather and the vibes... as the mood board depicts, August makes me think of champagne (it's my birthday month!), sunsets and the beach, crisp white outfits, iced coffee, and time outside. But it's also the last month of summer and I usually have things looming over my head as it goes on...
For example, this year I start my job in September and I am not only so unsure of what to expect but also a little disappointed I can't move to NYC and start there as planned. My trip to the city to apartment hunt was originally this weekend, then we (me and my roommates, who are two of my friends from UW) pushed it to Labor Day weekend, and now it's kind of looking like we will have to cancel it for the time being until the travel advisory is lifted.
Going off of that, I was also supposed to head to Martha's Vineyard for Labor Day after apartment hunting, but Massachusetts also added Wisconsin to the travel advisory, so I think that is canceled as well!
On the bright side, I am really looking forward to going up to Celia's cabin next weekend with my friends, celebrating my 22nd birthday on the 20th, and hanging out at home without many responsibilities for another month before I start my job. Before I know it, I'm sure I'll be buried in work, so I just need to appreciate this time for what is rather than what it isn't!
I'm hoping to read a few more books in August, do a little more pilates, continue to go for lots of runs, and take more blog photos! I've been really inspired lately to try to post more on IG and it's been fun to engage more with many of you!

So cute, right?!
What's on your agenda for August?

This looks so cute! I just came across your blog and I love what you've created. Congrats on your job, I hope it goes well. And don't worry about NYC! You're right about enjoying what you currently have than dwelling on the things you don't have yet, the time will come eventually. Hope you have a great August!
