February Favorites

AH! How is it March?! As much as it feels like Christmas and the New Year were lifetimes ago, I haven't really done much this semester, so it's surprising we are already a couple of months into it! You may have noticed I haven't posted on Instagram in a couple of weeks... unfortunately my life really is just that uneventful. Nonetheless, there are still many little things I loved throughout the month that I think are worth sharing!

Lots of playlists!! I shared my February Playlist here, and started making a new playlist for March already! I also made a new FUN playlist that you can find here! It's really fun for working out or for listening to during a pregame... I made it with Coco and we are obsessed!

Veja's Campo // Ahh!! I FINALLY got my hands on the Veja Campo sneakers!! I'd been wanting Veja's for so long, and after reading this blog post by Sydney (from Summer Wind... one of my fave bloggers) comparing the "esplar" and "campo" styles, I decided to go for it! I love the Campo style, but I would definitely suggest sizing down a half size.. they run a bit big! I got the white/natural color, and they're so cute, versatile, and flattering on the leg. They are always selling out but right now they are available here in all sizes!

Croissant Ring // I mentioned this in Saturday's top 10, but I really can't get over my new croissant ring! For under $50, this ring is such high quality and so cute. It's my newest everyday jewelry piece, and I am so happy with it. It surprisingly doesn't look bad on my not-very-cute fingers, and it doesn't turn my finger green either! 10/10 recommend.

J. Crew Slippers // I think I've mentioned these a bit already since they were a Christmas present, but I really can't stop loving these fuzzy little slippers. They're so soft and warm! I have to admit they do shed a little bit at the beginning, but I think it's worth it because of how comfortable and cute they are! They are on sale here, and you can find a more inexpensive pair here!

Aerin Ikat Jasmine // Another Christmas present, but I'm still not over it! If you've been reading for the last couple of years, you might know that Aerin's Ikat Jasmine is my favorite everyday perfume. I ran out of my first bottle a couple of months ago, so when I got a new bottle for Christmas I was so excited to be able to wear my favorite scent again! I am just a huge lover of all things Aerin, so maybe I'm biased, but the scent is gorgeous. I wear perfume every single day without fail, and I am very loyal to my Aerin!

Omg. I have been dying to share this! I bought The Daily Stoic book at the beginning of 2020 and read it every single morning. It's essentially a philosophy book with a daily passage just to give you something to think about every single day. It's such a great way to put things in your life into perspective and make you more aware of your mindset.

I don't wear makeup to class, but the one thing I try to do every day before leaving my apartment is my eyebrows. I've gone back and forth between this Benefit tool and Glossier boy brow, but right now I am personally loving the Benefit! I like how I can brush out my brows, fill them in, and then brush them again (this is a tip I learned from Margot Lee! if you don't brush out your brows after filling them in, it'll never look natural!) I have shade 2.5, which is just slightly darker than my natural brow-- perfect for me!

I shared an updated exercise routine a couple of weeks ago, and have since been loving hot HIIT yoga and even went to my first barre class! I'm really liking mixing up my workouts, but still looking forward to running outside soon!

After all of the hype on Instagram, I had to try Trader Joe's Cauliflower Gnocchi! I was a little bit hesitant... but omg... it's so good. Not only is it super healthy and inexpensive (only 4 ingredients! under $3!), but it's really easy to make (if you do it right!). I lined a small pan with foil and baked it on 400 for like 15ish minutes? I then tossed it in a little bit of olive oil and put it on a pan on the stove over high heat for a few minutes to get it a little bit crispy! I served it with steamed kale, sauteed cherry tomatoes, and a sprinkle of parmesan on top! Lots of salt and pepper, too, of course, and a bit of garlic powder and red pepper flake for flavor. I went back to TJ's recently to get another bag of it and will probably make it with red sauce next time around, but I can't imagine how fabulous it would be with pesto, too!

I'm currently addicted to the "squeezed" Vitamin Water zero. So many people have been getting sick lately, so it's important to get extra vitamin C and electrolytes in where you can! Not only does this have so many vitamins, but it's just so delicious and refreshing, especially when I get home from a workout! This flavor is my favorite because it's just like lemonade!

What were you loving in February?!
