Holiday Party Outfit Guide

When it comes to holiday festivities, there really is nothing better than getting dressed up and decked out for a party! I love all things velvet, tartan, and fur, so I'm obsessed with holiday attire. I thought it would be fun to round up a few pieces that would be perfect for any event this holiday season.

I think I need this green dress for New Year's Eve! I have no idea what my plans are, but I am always so last-minute with finding an outfit, and I know this dress would be a no-brainer, fabulous choice. I would probably style it with over-the-knee boots if I end up visiting my brother and some friends for a night out in Chicago for New Year's.

I love the idea of those silver pants paired with that navy silk top (the bow at the back of the neck is gorg) and tartan heels for my cookie exchange party. How fabulous would it be to accessorize that outfit with these earrings and this velvet bow clutch too?!

I purchased these velvet leggings on Black Friday and wore them to class yesterday with a simple all-black outfit. They are so comfortable! I suggest ordering true to size or size down if you're in between. I usually wear a 6 in J. Crew shorts and went with the small in these leggings and they're perfect.

If you need one versatile shoe this holiday season, I don't think you could ever go wrong with mid-height black block heels, and this pair with pearls on the tie is adorable and under $40. 

For a fancier option I love this pair that comes in a ton of colors, including gold and silver.
