Life Lately: ZBB Concert + Apartment Progress

Happy Tuesday friends! I've had an exciting past few days and wanted to write a little update on what I've been up to! I always think back to six and a half years ago when I started my blog (insane) and used to post about whatever I was doing or what was on my mind, and I think it's fun to come full circle and still do that kind of thing now too.

On Thursday I wrapped up my summer internship! I've mentioned it a few times, but I was a Corporate Communications Intern at the leading global water heating company, headquartered here in Milwaukee. I met Koryn (@ivylanephotoco) who took a ton of my blog photos throughout the summer, and her friendship was the best perk of the whole internship!

On Friday, my roommate Coco and I decided to get tickets for the Zac Brown Band concert on Saturday. My other roommate/best friend Elizabeth couldn't make it, but her boyfriend Grant joined us too and the three of us had such a fun night! I drove us to the venue, about 45 minutes away in the middle-of-nowhere Wisconsin, which made for the perfect vibes for a country concert. We met up with a ton of friends and tailgated a little bit before the concert in a huge open field.. it was just such a perfect ambiance, beautiful night, and ZBB was amazing live.

Before the concert on Saturday I ran a few errands and wore these new jeans (on sale under $50!), this $25 straw bag (an amazing deal-- found it on Amazon!) and this $10 white tee that has been such a staple for me lately. 

On Sunday I had a pretty lowkey day... church with my mom, a three hour nap (so tired from Saturday!) and an ice cream run that night. I shared the above photo of my church OOTD where I wore this new skort from Mango that I love! It's under $25 and fits so well. I am wearing a size small (their clothes run a bit big).

Yesterday I ventured out to Madison for the day to make good use of my first Monday post-internship. I had a productive day decorating my apartment, going on a Target run, and doing a few things I needed to check off my list before school starts in a few weeks. I am very excited about my apartment room finally coming together (there was a mishap with my blue desk when I initially moved in two weeks ago -- it was way too big for the room so I ended up ordering this white one, and I plan to do a little DIY like this to spice it up!) 

Also got a ton of questions about my "Drink More Coffee" pennant. It's carried on a ton of websites if you Google it, but sold out most places. I found mine on American Eagle here!

Today I have nothing on my schedule (for the first weekday in forever!) so I'm hoping to get a ton of work done for my summer Econ class, write a few blog posts, go on a run, get organized for Palm Beach this weekend (I leave Saturday and can NOT WAIT) and finish my current book!
