1. Friday! This week went by fast, but the days themselves felt long. It's like just Monday was just here, and at the same time, yesterday dragged on forever. For the first time in a couple of weeks I'm heading into Friday feeling like, for the most part, I had a "good" week. I worked out every morning before my internship, ate a little healthier, did some photoshoots for the blog, posted on here a few times... it felt good! How was your week?
2. Speaking of blog posts, here's what went on around here if you missed it:
3. Currently reading Modern Lovers by Emma Straub, and I'm having a hard time getting into it. I picked it up because it had amazing reviews, but I'm really struggling to keep going. If you've read it, I would love to hear your thoughts!
4. I am obsessed with this outfit on Carly! The top, the jeans, the earrings... so perfect!
5. I didn't want to dedicate a whole post to the Nordstrom sale because frankly, every blogger out there is doing it, and I probably won't even purchase anything. But, there are some good things in there, so you should take a peek! A lot of my favorite things have already sold out, but they usually restock throughout the sale, so keep checking back!
6. I shot the above outfit this week with one of my best friends Coco, and I loved this whole look!
You can shop similar pieces here:
denim button down // white jeans // bucket bag // mules // scarf
7. I ordered this necklace this week and I can not wait for it to come.
8. This raspberry lemon poppy seed cake looks like the perfect summer treat.
9. Every single one of these pink bathrooms is goals
10. Adding this coffee table book to my never-ending list!

Omg I read Modern Lovers and I saw you were reading it, tbh I did not enjoy it.... I felt like something was missing and the ending was just dumb. Not a fan of it!
ReplyDeleteThis has been a productive week for me as well! I've started getting into a blogging routine as well as a morning routine. I reactivated my social media accounts for my blog this week!

Okay, makes me feel so much better than someone else didn't love it!
DeleteIsn't nailing down a morning routine THE BEST? My mornings are my favorite part of the day.

I really liked Modern Lovers. I used to live in Brooklyn, so maybe I connected to it because of that. I will say it took me a little time to get into it (I checked it out, returned it, checked it out a gain) but it's certainly a small, character-heavy story. Not sure what books you usually like but if you're looking for something more plot-driven, this probably isn't it!

Hmm... maybe I do prefer plot development over character development now that I think about it. I enjoy a little suspense and mystery! Maybe I just need to power through and see what happens.
