How is it the last day of April???? I feel like I was just in London a week ago, and somehow summer is only a week away. What! Here's what I've been loving this month:
L I S T E N I N G // I went to the Rainbow Kitten Surprise concert in Madison last week Monday with my roommate/bestie Elizabeth and we had the best time. It was definitely in my top 3 of my best concerts I've ever been to, and their entire new album is so amazing. I know their name is weird, but trust me, they're so good. If I had to choose, my favorite songs on this album are Hide, It's Called: Freefall, and Holy War.
W A T C H I N G // On Friday we had a girls night and I think it was J. Lo day or something on E! because they were playing a ton of J. Lo movies back to back. If you haven't yet seen Enough, it's insanely good. Surprisingly, it's a total thriller and I was on the edge of my seat the whole movie!! Basically, J. Lo's character finds out her husband is cheating on her, and then he turns into a monster who starts abusing her, and she has to get out of there, but then he tries to find her and kill her everywhere she goes!! So crazy, so good.
E X E R C I S E // I'm starting to get back onto the grind a little. Only a week until summer, and I'm definitely not where I want to be, but I'm taking baby steps. I'm thinking I want to train for a half marathon this summer!!!
W E A R I N G // I can not stop wearing this sweatshirt and these shoes. I want to wear this belt I ordered a few weeks ago with everything.
A C C E S S O R I Z I N G // I wore these earrings to formal on Saturday night and loved how they looked with my dress! I almost bought this pair instead, but I think the gold was more fitting for the occasion. I pierced my double and triple piercings last month, and I think I'll finally be able to change out the studs this week or the next! I am considering this cool initial tag earring. Thoughts?
B E A U T Y // I haven't really changed up my beauty routine recently, but I did share my skincare routine on the blog last week. You can read the post here!
E A T I N G // Yesterday was Elizabeth's birthday, so one of our best friends, Celia, came over and her and I made a cake together to celebrate! We used this recipe and doubled it to make two round cakes to stack on top of each other with frosting in the middle and on top. I definitely overindulged, but it was one of the best homemade cakes we've ever eaten. So delicious! Also, yesterday I successfully poached an egg for the first time! It wasn't as hard as I expected, and I love a good poached egg. I think I've eaten avocado toast every single day for at least the last 10 days...
D R I N K I N G // On a healthier note, I bought these charcoal capsules and have really loved how they help with digestion. I'd been dealing with a lot of stomach pains this month so I started mixing these into my water, and I think it's helping a little!! It's only been a few days but it's better than before. The charcoal water has no taste, it's just a little gritty when you reach the bottom of the glass. It looks weird but it's not that bad at all!
What have you been loving this month?
