Cookie Exchange Party Recap + Outfit

So, if you've been reading the blog for a while you know that I fly alone pretty often.... and something almost always goes wrong. On Saturday night I was supposed to fly into Milwaukee and be home before 10 PM. My flight connected from school in Philly and the second flight from Philly to MKE was canceled. Freaking out, I called American Airlines and they were so helpful. They got me on a flight to Chicago where the weather was better, and although not ideal, I was able to stay with our family friends Saturday night and take the train home on Sunday to make it in time for my party. Long story short, it was 19 hours of planes, trains, and automobiles, but I made it home!

The party this year was smaller than last year because a few of my friends are still at school, and because a lot of people were busy with holiday plans since we had to have it a week later given my finals schedule. However, it was still an incredibly fun way to commence my month at home and enjoy getting in the holiday spirit with my friends! I had missed everyone so much and seeing them all in real life, exchanging and decorating cookies, and listening to Christmas music was the best afternoon.
